Claudia McGehee of Â鶹¹ÙÍø City is the author of A Tallgrass Prairie Alphabet (Â鶹¹ÙÍø, 2004), which was named a Midwest Favorite by the Upper Midwest Booksellers Association, A Woodland Counting Book (Â鶹¹ÙÍø, 2006), a Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards Gold Medal Winner, and, most recently, Where Do Birds Live? (Â鶹¹ÙÍø 2010). Illustrator of The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Nature Calendar (Â鶹¹ÙÍø, 2007), she has worked primarily in the art medium of scratchboard for many years.
