Dorothy Schwieder is university professor emerita of history at Â鶹¹ÙÍø State University.  For thirty-four years at Â鶹¹ÙÍø State University, where she researched and taught courses in the history of Â鶹¹ÙÍø, American women, and the Midwest. She has written numerous books and articles on Â鶹¹ÙÍø and midwestern history.
